Getting started with the violin
The violin has no frets, so every note depends on where your fingers land. That is why playing in tune takes practice, and why it helps when something listens. tonestro hears every note you play and shows you right away whether it was in tune.
Short, regular practice usually helps more than one long session a week. Practice hard passages slowly first, then bring them up to speed.
Many adults come back to the violin after years away. You don’t have to start from zero: choose the course that fits and go on from there.
